The books in The Emberwilde Magic & Mystery Trio
Toadstool Villages
A whole village small enough to hold in your hands. 60 pages, including a toadstool cottage with a round door and a smoking chimney at the head of a lane, a cottage built into the roots of a great tree, a hedgehog trundling home along the lower lane and a cottage cat asleep on a sun-warmed doorstep.
The Wizard's Tower
Spell libraries, alchemy benches, and star charts across the floor. 60 pages, including a spell library rising three storeys around a spiral stair, a raven perched on the back of an empty chair, a reading nook wedged between two bookcases and a winter morning with snow banked on the sills.
The Winter Wilds
Ice palaces, winter forests, and the aurora burning over the snow. 60 pages, including an ice palace rising from a frozen lake, an ice dragon coiled on a glacier shelf, an aurora reflected in a still black tarn and a cliff of gray rock streaked with blue ice.
Why these books go together
The cozy and the strange: a mushroom village of lantern-lit lanes, a wizard's tower of books and brass, and a snow-bound country of ice palaces and aurora skies. A mix of quiet evening pages and ones to spend longer on.
