Which fall book?
Cozy Cottage Autumn is sixty pages of fall and nothing else: pumpkins, apples and the orchard, leaves and woodland, harvest, cozy autumn indoors and autumn moments outside. There’s a cat in the pumpkin patch, a mouse asleep in a hollow pumpkin, an apple pie, a fox curled in the leaves, a squirrel gathering nuts on the fence and a reading nook with the leaves falling outside. The style is cute and bold, with big spaces to fill, and there are no ghosts, bats or carved faces anywhere in it.
A Year at the Cottage, from The Honeywick Collection, follows a cottage through all four seasons in fine detail. Its fall pages are an autumn harvest porch, an autumn baking kitchen, an autumn apple orchard and an autumn pantry, with spring, summer and winter scenes for the rest of the year. Pick it if you like a fuller, more intricate page.
Buying ahead for Christmas? The Seasons & Cats trio is Cozy Cottage Autumn, Cozy Cottage Christmas and Cozy Cottage Cats together for $16.99.
Coloring pages for Thanksgiving
For the Thanksgiving table, or the quiet hour after the meal, these are the harvest and baking pages: a lattice pie cooling on a windowsill, a sheaf of wheat tied with a bow, a basket heaped with fruit. To be clear about what’s here, there are no turkeys or pilgrims in our books. The pages are about harvest, pie and a warm kitchen.

Printing for a family gathering? You can print as many copies as you like for yourself and your family, so there can be a page at every place setting. For older relatives, Jumbo Word Search: Home Cooking has apple pie and pie night among its hundred large-print puzzles; see all our large print word searches for seniors.
Coloring ideas for fall pages
- Use more than orange. Real pumpkins are peach, cream, sage green and pale butter yellow as well as orange. A pile of mixed pumpkins looks richer than a pile of identical ones.
- Color leaves in three steps. Butter yellow all over, then honey or terracotta from the stem outwards, then a touch of brown at the tips. It gives every leaf a turn of the season.
- Warm the whole page. Cream instead of white for walls, honey brown for wood, and dusty rose or plum for accents keep the page feeling like a fall afternoon.
- Keep one cool color. A sky-blue mug, a sage cardigan or a lilac scarf stops a page of oranges from blurring together.
Every book includes a full-color reference guide, numbered to match the pages, if you’d like a palette to start from. The free Cozy Cottage sampler has a fall page too: a hedgehog peeking out of a pile of leaves.
Common questions
No. They’re cozy fall pages, with pumpkins, apples, leaves and harvest days but no ghosts, bats, witches or carved faces, so they suit anyone from September to Thanksgiving.
Yes, harvest and baking ones: pies on the windowsill, wheat sheaves, harvest baskets and pumpkins, in Cozy Cottage Autumn and The Little Farmhouse Kitchen. There are no turkeys or pilgrims in our books.
They’re drawn for teens and adults. The Cozy Cottage style is cute with bold outlines, so older children who color with pencils enjoy it too; the Honeywick pages are finer and more detailed.
A US Letter PDF, an A4 PDF and a full-color reference guide for each book, straight after checkout. Print as many copies as you like for yourself, your family or your own classroom.
