Mitten & Mug is winter made easy: sixty single-subject pages with thick lines and lots of open space. There are mugs of cocoa and marshmallows, hats, scarves and mittens, snowmen and snowflakes, winter animals, ornaments and wreaths, and cozy things such as slippers, blankets and a fireplace.

Every Seasonal Collection page is drawn as a single, clear scene with bold outlines and open areas to fill. Some books are rounder and easier, some finer and more delicate; each book's page says which. For a finer, more intricate page, try The Honeywick Collection.

How detailed is it?

The easiest book in the Seasonal Collection: one big object per page with thick outlines, about a dozen shapes and nothing smaller than a fingertip. A good first book, a good one for markers, and a quick evening page.

It makes an easy gift for a beginner, a child who likes to color, or anyone who wants a relaxing page. Because it’s a download, you can print the pages and give them in a folder, or send the file to someone who prints at home.
