Description

Round bats, luna moths and sleepy owls for a night in.

Bramble & Bat is a quiet night-time book: bats in teacups and on piles of books, moths and fireflies, owls and ravens, spiders at their looms, hedgehogs, foxes and badgers under the moon, and a few cozy windowsill scenes to finish. The creatures are drawn softly, with a little more detail in the fur, feathers and wings than the cuter books.

Every Seasonal Collection page is drawn as a single, clear scene with bold outlines and open areas to fill. Some books are rounder and easier, some finer and more delicate; each book's page says which. For a finer, more intricate page, try The Honeywick Collection.

How detailed is it?

Medium to detailed: the bats are round and simple, but the moths, owls, spiders' webs and woodland animals have feathers, fur and web lines to fill. The night-scene pages are fuller. The most detailed of the Halloween books for animal lovers.

It makes an easy gift for a nature lover or a night owl. Because it’s a download, you can print the pages and give them in a folder, or send the file to someone who prints at home.
